What is the difference between the Babylon payment plans?

When you wish to upgrade your Babylon, moving from the free version to the premium version you are faced with three options:

  • A monthly subscription
  • An annual subscription
  • A lifetime license

What are the differences?

Monthly subscription

The Monthly Recurrent plan renews itself automatically on the same day of each month. The Monthly Recurrent plan entitles you to use the software purchased, until you cancel the automatic renewal. You are entitled to free software updates and upgrades during that period, if and when available.

Annual subscription

This is the suggested package, as we believe it offers the best return for your money!

The Annual plan is a one-time payment that entitles you to use the software you purchased for a twelve (12)-month period. During this period you are entitled to free software updates and upgrades, if any. You will be required to purchase a new “Annual plan” package when the twelve (12)-month period has terminated and your license expires.

Lifetime License

A “Lifetime license”, as opposed to a Monthly Recurrent or an Annual license, is a permanent license and not a time-limited license. The license is limited to the version available at the time of the purchase (currently Babylon NG) and entitles you to updates to the software once available.

Once a new major version is released, no more updates will be released for that older version and the version will no longer be supported. From our experience, over time some features might not function as they used to or stop working at all.

If and when you will decide to upgrade, you can always revisit our store and choose from the offers available at that time.

So what should I choose?

We are sorry but we cannot make the decision for you. Your decision should be based on your needs and your understanding of the explanation provided above.

If you have any questions, you can always contact our support team and they will be happy to answer you ASAP.
